حمله‌ی سایبری گسترده به زیرساخت‌های ارتباطی آمریکا

در یک حمله‌ی سایبری پیچیده، گروه هکری Salt Typhoon که به چین مرتبط است، به شبکه‌های چندین شرکت بزرگ مخابراتی آمریکا از جمله Verizon و AT&T نفوذ کرده است. هدف اصلی این حمله، جاسوسی و جمع‌آوری اطلاعات حساس از افراد خاص، به ویژه مقامات دولتی و سیاسی، بوده است.

گرچه این شرکت‌ها اعلام کرده‌اند که حمله را دفع کرده و شبکه‌هایشان را پاکسازی کرده‌اند، اما نگرانی‌ها در مورد عمق نفوذ مهاجمان و اطلاعاتی که ممکن است به دست آورده باشند، همچنان باقی است. علاوه بر Verizon و AT&T، شرکت‌های مخابراتی دیگری نیز هدف این حملات قرار گرفته‌اند و دولت آمریکا تأیید کرده است که در مجموع ۹ شرکت مخابراتی تحت تأثیر قرار گرفته‌اند.

In a sophisticated cyberattack, the Salt Typhoon hacking group, linked to China, has infiltrated the networks of several major US telecommunications companies, including Verizon and AT&T. The primary goal of this attack was espionage and the collection of sensitive information from specific individuals, particularly government and political officials.

Although these companies have announced that they have repelled the attack and cleaned up their networks, concerns remain about the depth of the attackers’ penetration and the information they may have obtained. In addition to Verizon and AT&T, other telecommunications companies have also been targeted, and the US government has confirmed that a total of nine telecommunications companies have been affected.

This attack highlights the increasing complexity and severity of cyberattacks on critical national infrastructure and is a wake-up call for the importance of cybersecurity in today’s world
